Call to order

 

Discussion Item:  Budget for fiscal year 2021-2022: Everything seems to be in order and should be approved at tonight’s council meeting

 

Discussion Item:  Disbursement of American Rescue Plan (COVID) Relief Money:  Talked about how to divide the $133,789,77 so each department will benefit from the COVID relief Funds.  Discussed that the Water Treatment Plant and Wastewater Treatment Plant will need new Chem Pumps and Turbidimeters. Estimate is $15,000.  The Water Treatment Plant needs to replace the water lines running from Nickel to 13^th Steet. Estimate is $30,000. City Hall and Kamiah Fire and Rescue will require $40,000 to remove and replace the entire cabling network, update all hardware, and restore a secure intranet and internet environment. And the remaining funds of $48,789.77 will be used as incentive pay raises for essential workers and to purchase Air Purifiers and Emergency Reserve of water, toilet paper and masks for the City.
