Update for N. Hill st. leak- Water will be restored for tonight shortly. It will be turned off again in the morning at or after 8AM for actual repair. Please flush your cold water line to remove any brown sediment. This is manganese which settles out of our water, it is not soil. This manganese is a natural mineral which comes from the South Fork, it reacts to the chlorine turning it brown. More info here: https://cityofkamiah.org/public-works-dept

Significant leak on N. Hill, much of N. Hill plus senior center may be affected. Water will be off soon, restoration time is unknown. This may extend into the evening and perhaps until morning. Will update this notice when we know more.
