Creating Community Through Parks and Facilities

The mission of the City of Kamiah is to provide quality parks, recreation facilities, and a safe place for our citizens and visitors of all ages, interests and abilities.

Riverfront Park

Is located along the Clearwater Scenic By-way of Highway 12 adjacent to the Clearwater River. Riverfront Park has a covered area and pavilion that is available for reservations by contacting City Hall. Riverfront Park has playground equipment and two swing sets for toddlers and older children. Amenities of the park are restroom facilities (7AM to 4 PM, closes seasonally for Winter), litter containment and RV spaces (limited electrical service, no water or sewer hookups).

Note: Electrical service for campers is on hold until further notice pending necessary repairs.

Dupont Park

Located on the Southeast corner of 8th St and Idaho St. Dupont Park currently has no structures to reserve. However the area is a great place for people of all ages to spend some quiet time with friends and family. This park overlooks a field where wildlife can be safely observed.
