Creating Community Through Parks and Facilities
The mission of the City of Kamiah is to provide quality parks, recreation facilities, and a safe place for our citizens and visitors of all ages, interests and abilities.
Riverfront Park
Is located along the Clearwater Scenic By-way of Highway 12 adjacent to the Clearwater River. Riverfront Park has a covered area and pavilion that is available for reservations by contacting City Hall. Riverfront Park has playground equipment and two swing sets for toddlers and older children. Amenities of the park are restroom facilities (7AM to 4 PM, closes seasonally for Winter), and litter containment.
Note: The park is now closed to overnight camping, ref. ordinance 2019-1.
Dupont Park
Located on the Southeast corner of 8th St and Idaho St. Dupont Park currently has no structures to reserve. However the area is a great place for people of all ages to spend some quiet time with friends and family. This park overlooks a field where wildlife can be safely observed.
***New attraction coming to DuPont Park is a splash pad donated by Freedom Northwest Credit Union***
Park Facility Fees
All fees must be paid to the City of Kamiah for reservation of park facilities.

Permit is required to reserve park facilities on a first come first serve basis

Alcohol and Tobacco consumption is prohibited in the park per Kamiah City Ordinance 12.36.080

Park hours are from sunrise to sunset, unless otherwise provided in a permit, Kamiah City Ordinance 12.36.090
