A Message From The City of Kamiah Public Works

Public Works notified City Hall that residents in or around 11th Street have been flushing wipes. The wipes are not disposible in the city sewer system and clog the pumps. These pumps are very expensive, and time consuming for the Public Works staff to pull and clear the wipes from the system. If a pump gets clogged and breaks this cost will get passed along to city residents. Please discard all wipes in your trash and do not flush them down the drain.
