The City of Kamiah is currently accepting applications for Lead Wastewater Treatment Operator.
The City of Kamiah offers competitive pay and excellent benefits. The Kamiah area offers excellent outdoor recreational opportunities with tremendous fishing, boating, hunting, hiking, and easy access to Forest Service 4WD trails and places to harvest firewood. Kamiah offers about the mildest weather Idaho has to offer.
Basic requirements: Must hold at least Class 2 Wastewater Treatment Operator License and WW Collections 1. Must have at least Drinking Water Treatment 1 and Distribution 1. Must have or be able to obtain class B CDL. Must be able to install, repair, and maintain water and sewer line. Must be able to operate equipment incidental to performing the work at task. Must maintain sewer lines and perform routine plant and sewer collections.
As lead operator makes operational decisions and handles required recordkeeping and reporting. The successful candidate will ensure regulatory compliance.
Applicant must present a copy of high school diploma or GED certificate: Must have driver’s license and working phone. Must be willing to work some weekends and holidays and to respond to emergencies after hours. To apply please email tbrenneis@cityofkamiah.org for an application.
